❓ Getting Started
1. What does Kenya Research Consultancy do? We provide expert academic and professional research support. For students, this covers everything from topic selection and proposal writing through to full thesis and dissertation writing, data analysis, editing, and defence preparation. For NGOs and corporate clients, we produce evaluation reports, policy briefs, market research reports, grant proposals, and institutional strategic plans. We also offer training in SPSS, STATA, R, and NVivo.
2. Who do you work with? We work with Master’s and PhD students at Kenyan and East African universities, postdoctoral researchers, NGOs and donor-funded projects, government agencies, SACCOs, private firms, and industry consultancies. If you have a research or analytical need, we can almost certainly help.
3. How do I get started? Contact us directly by phone, WhatsApp, or email. Tell us your topic, institution (if applicable), deadline, and what you need. We will respond with a clear scope and quote — no commitment required at the initial consultation stage.

4. Is my project kept confidential? Completely. We do not share, publish, discuss, or retain client work after delivery. We do not disclose client identities to any third party under any circumstances. Your research is yours — before, during, and after the engagement.
5. Can I trust the quality of your work? Yes. Our team holds postgraduate qualifications across multiple disciplines. Every deliverable goes through internal quality review before it reaches you. We also offer free revisions within the agreed scope. If you are not satisfied, we revise until you are.
6. Do you work with my university’s specific formatting requirements? Yes. Share your institution’s guidelines — chapter structure, referencing style, margin settings, font requirements — and we follow them precisely. We work with APA, Harvard, Chicago, MLA, Vancouver, and any custom institutional format.

7. How long does a project take? It depends on scope. A single chapter typically takes 5–10 days. A full research proposal takes 2–3 weeks. A complete thesis or dissertation is planned on a milestone schedule we agree at the start. Urgent timelines can be discussed — contact us and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
8. How will I know progress is being made? We provide drafts at agreed milestones throughout the project. You are kept informed at every stage. For milestone-based projects, you review and approve each section before we proceed to the next.
9. Can I only get help with one chapter? Yes. We support single chapters, individual sections, or specific tasks — not just full documents. Tell us exactly what you need and we will quote for that scope only.
10. What if I need something urgently? Contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp and explain your deadline. We will assess whether the timeline is feasible and give you an honest answer. Urgent projects may carry an additional fee depending on scope.

11. Do you handle data analysis? Yes. We analyse quantitative data using SPSS, STATA, R, and Excel, and qualitative data using NVivo and thematic coding. We also write the full Chapter Four — including tables, figures, and a well-interpreted narrative linked back to your research objectives.
12. Do you remove AI-generated content? Yes. We humanise AI-flagged content and verify the result using GPTZero and Originality.ai before delivery. This service is priced per 5,000 words. We also run Turnitin checks and address plagiarism issues separately.
13. Do you write grant or donor proposals? Yes. We write grant and donor proposals for NGOs, academic institutions, and development-sector organisations. Rates vary depending on the funder and scope — contact us for a quote.
14. Do you offer training? Yes. We run training sessions in SPSS, STATA, R, and NVivo, as well as academic writing seminars and one-on-one research coaching. Training can be individual or group-based, and institutional training programmes can be customised on request.

15. What are your rates? Our standard rates for academic services: Research Proposal (Master’s) — Ksh 50,000 / $500; Thesis/Dissertation Writing (Master’s) — Ksh 90,000 / $900; Data Analysis (Master’s) — Ksh 50,000 / $500. 16. Do you offer payment in instalments? Yes. For projects above Ksh 50,000, we structure milestone-based payments. You pay per milestone as each section is completed and approved — you are not expected to pay everything upfront.
17. Do you offer discounts? We keep our rates competitive and fair. Returning clients and referrals may be eligible for a discount — ask us when you make contact. We do not compromise on quality to lower a price.
18. When do I pay? For standard projects, payment begins before work starts. For milestone-based projects, the first payment covers the first milestone. We will agree the schedule clearly before any work begins.
